Number 23 in the Ian Skennerton SAIS series, this book - at first glance at the title, seems somewhat superfluous, given the wealth of other books in the series on Lee-Enfield rifles. This however is far from the case! Given the sheer numbers of variations of the Lee-Enfield rifle what this book does is take the mystery out of exactly which model that sear belongs to, which trigger guard is the right one for that SMLE No1 Mk5 that you are trying to restore etc.

It gives illustrated comparisons of the various components enabling you to turn that junk box of unidentified bits into usable (and often valuable) parts. For anyone in the business of collecting, restoring or building Lee-Enfield rifles, professionally or as a hobby this is a book that you need on your bookshelf. The book contains 48 pages, freely illustrated with both B&W photos and line drawings.
