'Inglis Diamond' follows the story of the Canadian John Inglis Company Ltd. of Ontario, and its production of the John Moses Browning designed 9mm 'HP35 High Power' pistol. The story follows the convoluted series of events which led to the pistol design eventually coming to production in Canada, after initially being made at FN in Belgium. It moves through the first 'Chinese Contract' pistols, through the SOE contract pistols and on to it's eventual adoption by the UK and Canadian Forces, for Airborne and Commando units and lastly to it's limited post WW2 manufacture and the experiments made with the design by the Inglis Ordnance Division.

A complex and fascinating story told through a well researched and illustrated book. If you thought that you knew all there was to know about the 'High Power', the 20 Chapters and 3 Appendixes of this book will make you think again! Hard back with dust jacket. Size 230 x 286mm, containing 312 pages with 379 illustrations in the form of both black & white photographs and line drawings.
