Written and published by John Bailey, 'British Allways Grenades' is the third in his highly readable and authorative series on British hand grenades.

Printed in A5 size and with soft card covers, the book contains 140 pages following the development of percussion grenades in British service over approximately 100 years. The best known of the percussion grenades are probably the Bakelite No69 Grenade, and the No82 'Gammon' Grenade beloved of British Airborne forces, both of WW2 vintage. However, these are just the culmination of years of research and trials into a safe grenade which would always detonate when thrown.

Heavily illustrated throughout with colour and black and white photographs, line drawings and diagrams, this is currently, and is set to be for many years hence, the 'gold standard' book on these grenades and is highly recommended.

First published in 2022.
