This is an original, British Army, User Handbook, for the Rifles, 7.62mm, L42A1 & L39A1and Telescopes, Straight, Sighting L1A1 & Scout Regiment. Coded AC 60704, dated 1971.

In near mint condition, this handbook contains 80 pages within buff coloured, soft card covers. The Handbook gives complete information on the use, care of and maintenance for all the equipment listed in the title. It further contains many line drawings illustrating the workings and testing of the equipment, along with range tables, ammunition details and conversion tables.

These were originally issued with the L42A1 Sniper Rifles and the L39A1 Target Rifles and form part of the Complete Equipment Schedules (CES).
